SMALL MINIS!
I focus on European Import Moyens and American miniature lines, which naturally produce Miniature and Moyen sizes. I do not breed standard and miniature poodles together to produce moyens (read why in my blog). My Miniatures are 13 1/2-16” and 14-20lbs. Moyen is a variety recognized in 98 countries by FCI - World Dog Organisation. Moyens stand 13 ¾ to 17 ¾ tall. They are also known as Klein in Germany, which means Small. Both AKC and FCI accept all varieties of Poodles as one breed - Poodle. European Imported Moyens and AKC Miniature Poodles are genetically the same.

Brandy is a poodle with a smile and a twinkle in her eye. She lives the life at full speed and with purpose, determination and a gleeful outlook. She is a cheeky, go lucky “golden retriever” in a poodle coat; always happy to meet new people and demands attention. When she wants something, she will find a clever way to do it. When our expectations for the appropriate behavior do not match, out of respect for us, she will comply with our wish, and does as she pleases when we turn around.

NUGGET
MOONRISE PASSION IN ICE
Nugget was born here at Moonrise Poodles from Trinket and a Russian particolor import- «Niko» Bonoks Etual Klondike. I fell in awe with him the moment he was born. I got very excited but tried not get myself too attached as I was not planning to keep a male at that time. But he won my heart in the end and is the total mama’s boy.

HAZEL
HAZEL IS AN EXCEPTION TO THE MINIATURE POODLE RULE.
Hazel is easy going, calm, polite, mellow girl; she is our comfort poodle. Politely asking to be picked up or simply curling up right next to you on the couch. She is always near, as a stealthy shadow. She doesn’t ever try to challenge or suggest her own solution regarding her interaction with humans. She is happy to follow her people, fully trusting us to lead. I often “lose her,” and I must remind myself to look right behind myself. She is always there, following me as I search for her.
