BREEDING PLANS

I have a few exciting breedings planned for 2025/2026. I keep a small waitlist of committed owners who can reasonably expect to get a puppy from me within 3-12 months. To join the waitlist, please fill out the puppy application. I strive to produce the next generation of Moonrise Poodles who are better than their parents. This takes careful evaluation of the parents' health and the compatibility of their traits. Mother Nature is always involved in decision-making; I occasionally change plans due to conditions outside my control. While being a "stay-at-home poodle mom" allows me to dedicate all of my time to puppy raising, it is my priority to only breed when I am certain I can place my puppies into the best-fit homes. Miniature poodles have average litters of 3-5 puppies, so I encourage you to join our priority waiting list to get a puppy from Moonrise.

Vetted and ready to go home

Atlas is an 11-week-old large Miniature / small Medium Poodle, expected to mature around 15–17” and approximately 15–25 lbs.

He is a bright, affectionate boy who seeks connection and interaction with his people. He has a playful, sweet nature and genuinely enjoys interaction. Atlas would thrive in a home with an easygoing, “homebody” or countryside lifestyle—time spent together, a backyard to play in, and walks in the neighborhood. He would happily join you for hikes, a drive-through coffee run, or other quiet outings in the nature or accompany you on fence checks and barn chores.

Atlas is a smart puppy who would enjoy training for fun—tricks, basic obedience, and learning alongside his person—though he is not a high-drive sport prospect.
He would do well in a home with gentle children or teens.

While confident and reasonably self assured for his age, he is not the type of dog who will naturally enjoy high-traffic, highly stimulating, human-centric environments like busy city life or crowded festivals. While he is not shy, he prefers time to observe and understand his surroundings before feeling fully committed.

Lola is expected to mature around 14–15” and about the same in weight. She will probably clear into a beautiful blue color by the time she is 2 years old.
She’s a playful, medium-energy puppy with a naturally balanced temperament.

She enjoys engagement and learning, with just enough drive for things like tricks or rally, but she’s just as happy being part of a home that enjoys long walks and time together. Mental enrichment—puzzles, games, interactive play—will go a long way in keeping her content.

Lola is affectionate with familiar people and will continue to grow in confidence as she experiences more of the world. She would benefit from a home with another steady, confident dog to help guide her.
She forms meaningful bonds and will become a loyal, responsive companion to her person.
